Tradehome Shoes — Barboursville

I went in to see if the store (Barboursville, WV) carried a specific type of Sketchers sandals. The employees listened to what I was looking for and went to the back to pull what they had that they thought would fit my needs. The employee (I don’t know her name; nice young woman) returned with a couple of options and proceeded to sit in the floor while I tried on the options. I ended up with one of the pairs she pulled and was very pleased my experience. She said that they are more of a specialty shoe store which was VERY apparent. I shared that I worked at one of the stores in the mall that, although it is corporate, the type of experience is more of a small boutique store. At checkout I asked if they did a mall employee discount. The employee asked one of her co workers and he told her she could give me the 10% military discount. I thanked her and told her that my dad is a veteran so it worked out. I will 100% be back to purchase other shoes in the future. The experience and service was exceptional and it was honestly worth the little bit more money that I spent than I had originally planned.

Had such a lovely experience finding the right shoe here, I won’t go anywhere else! Cody and his team were so friendly and helped me find the exact shoe I needed, as quick as I needed. They also have the best selection of Hokas, Ons, and other tennis shoes brands I’ve seen around town. Highly recommend!!

Went yesterday and Kaeleigh helped us. She was very patient and knowledgeable. I went on the computerized foot machine. I tried on four different pair of shoes and was recommended orthotics. Well, the orthotics are absolutely what I needed. The store and people are wonderful. I watched and everyone in the store was treated with the same great service. It was an A+ experience. Will definitely return.
