Tradehome Shoes — Bowling Green

My husband and I stopped in Tradehome while we were at the mall this weekend just to look at dress shoes. Since we both have issues with fallen arches and plantar fasciitis we're pretty picky about our shoes and ensuring that they support our feet. It doesn't help that my husband wears a 12 4E and I'm usually a 10.5 to 11 in women's shoes. What started as a quick stop to look, turned into a longer visit when we met Chad, the store manager. He's was highly knowledgeable and had a lot of passion for his job. He was able to identify the underlying issues and able to recommend both products and shoes that not only fit but helped with our foot issues. I appreciated his approach of measuring our feet to pick the best fit for each brands, because not all shoes are sized the same. My husband walked out with a pair of Hokas, something he's been interested in, but hasn't been able to find the right fit, as well as a pair of Pikolinos dress shoes. Chad also founds several cute and comfortable styles for me to try on, but I decided not to add to my sizable shoe collection (which are mostly Vionics). I did however purchase a really great pair of Aetrex arch supporting insoles that I plan to incorporate into my shoe collection. While my 3/4 sole Dr. Sholl's ones have worked well over the years, I really wanted to a full sole version that I could use in my sneakers. The Aetrex ones were only a few dollars more and the warranty on them was outstanding. It was hands down one of the best shoe shopping experiences we've ever had and we will definitely be back.

Took my son to get new shoes and love shopping at this store. They sized both his feet for me.And gave me some recommendations on what shoes would be good for him. We ended up getting the New Balance 990v6. They are always so helpful and attentive when you shop there.

John O was absolutely phenomenal! He took the time to listen to my needs and concerns regarding the performance of my shoes. He was very patient during the process, as well as knowledgeable about the brands and products within the store. 10/10 would do again!
